Green Transition Holding (ticker code: GTH) announce the following new appointments;

GTH are expanding group management with three new directors. This is an i mportant step for the company as we are entering into the next phase of growth, developing and commercializing innovative technologies that improve the sustainability of industrie s.

Geir Otto Amundsen, Director

Mr. Amundsen started his position in August this year and holds significant international experience with more than 30 years’ experience working in various sectors, including general industry, oil and gas, aerospace, defense and renewables (offshore wind) and has worked with a range of businesses, including private, private equity and globally listed. He has held a range of directorships, including VP of Business Development, Head of Global Operations and CEO.

Mikkel Andreasen, Chief of Staff

Mr. Andreasen started his position in October 2021. He has 5 years of corporate finance experience focusing primarily on the renewable energy and clean tech space. Prior to joining GTH, he worked in DNB Markets’ Investment Banking Division in Oslo and New York advising on a range of capital markets and M&A transactions.

Andreas Grav Karlsen, VP Business Development

Mr. Karlsen started his position in October and has 8 years of international experience in the oil and gas industry where he mainly focused on rig new builds and upgrades as well as offshore wind projects. He held various positions within engineering, new product development and sales. He has also held a central role in commercialization and development of low carbon solutions towards the oil and gas industry and project execution.

Varme Energy Inc., a subsidiary of GTH, has signed a waste agreement with the City of Edmonton. Scheduled to start by 2027, the initiative aims to divert 150,000 tonnes of residential waste from landfills each year. The project will see the construction of an advanced waste-to-energy facility in Edmonton, focused on sustainable waste management, energy generation and CCS.

OSLO – Dec 20, 2022 – Green Transition Holding (GTH) has signed an agreement to sell its 49% ownership Green Bio, a bio energy development and asset owning company. Green Bio was established in 2021 to develop a bio energy district heating platform in Norway. Following a year and a half of development, GTH has decided to divest its shareholding. Today Green Bio owns ten operating bio energy plants, with a yearly production of about 20 GWh, as well as one large greenfield project under development. “This has been a successful journey for GTH, developing the Green Bio platform and generating value for both GTH and the other shareholders over the last year and a half. We would like to thank Partner Energy for the partnership and wish them all the best for future growth.” says Paal Skoe, CEO GTH. GTH will use the proceeds from the transaction to further invest in the energy transition.

Working through their Corporate Division, Neyaskweyahk Group of Companies, Ermineskin Cree Nation is exploring investment in Varme-run waste-to-energy projects throughout Alberta, including major new facilities. Ermineskin Cree Nation, located just south of Wetaskiwin, is eager to explore the opportunity to invest in leading-edge facilities that will create jobs, reduce emissions, generate energy, and shrink landfills, using technology that has had decades of success in Europe. “Our nation is focused on building a strong and vibrant economy that will support our families for generations to come.
