Green Transition Holding enters into partnership with Partner Energy and acquires a District Heating Portfolio

Partner Energy (PE), an investment company with focus on Renewable Energy and Technology, and Green Transition Holding (GTH) an Industrial, Environmental Technology company, have entered into a partnership to own, develop and consolidate assets within the bioenergy segment. Combining, PE’s competence and group investments with GTH’s inhouse EPC, Otechos Services in a close Partnership, boosts competitiveness and provides a unique/[unparalleled] service catalogue to the bioenergy industry. “A partnership with PE strengthens GTH’s service levels and is essential to execute on GTH’s strategy to be a core provider of bioenergy in Norway”, says Paal Skoe, CEO of GTH.

Varme Energy Inc., a subsidiary of GTH, has signed a waste agreement with the City of Edmonton. Scheduled to start by 2027, the initiative aims to divert 150,000 tonnes of residential waste from landfills each year. The project will see the construction of an advanced waste-to-energy facility in Edmonton, focused on sustainable waste management, energy generation and CCS.
